COMMONWEALTH ENGINEERS WELCOMES HOLLY LAWSON AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – July 17, 2026 — Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce that Holly Lawson has joined the firm as a Business Development Manager for Central Indiana.

Lawson brings a deep background in strategic communications experience to Commonwealth, including extensive leadership in public relations, media relations, branding, marketing, and stakeholder engagement for state government and political campaigns. Her background includes serving as Director of Communications for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Deputy Director of Communications for the Indiana Department of Education, Press Secretary for the Indiana Republican Party, and Media Relations Specialist for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. Through these roles, Lawson served as trusted advisor to agency leadership and the Governor’s Office on communications strategy.

In her new role, Lawson will serve as a Commonwealth client liaison for communities throughout Central Indiana, helping ensure clear communication, responsive coordination, and strong client support throughout each project.

Lawson currently serves as Chair of the Hancock County Republican Party (Indiana) and is a graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series and the Indiana Leadership Forum. Lawson holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, with a minor in Political Science, from Ball State University.
