2021 George Warren Fuller Award

Gale Gerber, Nappanee Utilities Manager, wins the 2021 George Warren Fuller Award from the American Water Works Association’s Indiana Section. This prestigious award is presented yearly at the American Water Works Association annual meeting to “an individual for distinguished service in the water supply field in commemoration of the sound engineering skill, the brilliant diplomatic talent, and the constructive leadership which characterized the life of George Warren Fuller.”

Gale has 38 years of experience in the water & wastewater industry; 33 years in Nappanee and 5 years in Monroeville. As the Utilities Manager, Gale is the primary contact for the Water and Wastewater Treatment Department and responsible for the operation, maintenance, lab, and administration of the treatment plant and distribution system. Gale is also responsible for coordinating all capital improvement projects related to water and wastewater for the City of Nappanee.
