The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Indiana announced its 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards. Commonwealth Engineers received two State Finalist Awards. We are grateful for our continued partnerships with communities that strive daily to demonstrate innovation, complexity, achievement, and value through the design and implementation of their public works projects!

City of Rensselaer – Water Utility Improvements Division A – State Finalist Award

The project included preliminary engineering, design, and construction of a new 400,000-gallon elevated storage tank, including 700 feet of additional 12-inch water main, cathodic protection, controls and instrumentation, backup power, and mixing system to meet the current and future needs of the City’s water distribution system.

Town of Paoli – Long Term Control Plan, Phase III Projects – State Finalist Award

The project involved a new 2-basin sequential batch reactor wastewater treatment plant, a new ultraviolet light disinfection system, and low-profile cascade aeration.
