Commonwealth Announces New Project Manager, Mr. Dale Gick
Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. is proud to announce Dale Gick as the newest member of the Project Management Team.
Mr. Gick will be serving as a senior project engineer and manager overseeing projects involving dams, levees, and stormwater engineering. His office will be based out of the Commonwealth corporate headquarters in Indianapolis.
Since 1995, Mr. Gick worked for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). He began his career there, first with the Water Division, then in the Division of Engineering as the Assistant Director over the Planning and Design Branch. In 2012, he was promoted to the Director of the Division of Engineering where he oversaw various projects for the DNR primarily on State Parks, State Forests, and Fish & Wildlife properties. A critical part of his management was the oversight of essential dam, road, trail, water, and wastewater projects.
Special accolades include being a part of a team that received the Governor’s Public Service Achievement Team Award for the design of an Asian Carp barrier at Eagle Marsh. He was also a 2017 recipient of the Purdue Outstanding Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABE) Alumni Award.
Mr. Dale Gick holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Purdue University.
