Leavenworth Water Tower – First of Its Kind in the United States

Town receives $1,570,000 in funds, with $1,485,000 being grant and loan forgiveness through OCRA and SRF agencies!  Work consisted of the replacement of the Town’s 85-year-old water storage tank, with a new 65,000-gallon glass-fused to steel ground storage tank from Mid-Atlantic Storage Systems with a bolt-together, hot-dipped galvanized steel support structure from Pittsburgh Tank and Tower to provide an elevated tank that is reported to be the first of its kind in the United States.
