Project Highlight: Nappanee Soccer Complex

The City of Nappanee recently completed the construction of a new Soccer Complex with artificial turf field at Wellfield Park. This project is the first phase of the WaNee Vision 2020 Campaign, a series of projects aimed at moving the Nappanee and Wakarusa communities forward. This phase is intended to promote physical activity and encourage a healthy lifestyle, relocate the High School soccer field from the Nappanee Elementary School, and eventually incorporate multi-use trails. Financing for this project is unique in that funds were raised locally to support this public/private partnership.

The Soccer Complex was part of a multi-division project which included improvements to Nappanee Street and the development of Municipal Wells within the Park.
