Commonwealth Engineers performed a Value Engineering / Alternatives Assessment of the City’s CSO Collection System Improvements Project.

• Coordinated with IDEM to obtain an extension on their LTCP’s required milestone collection system project.
• Proposed an alternative to their original design, which is not only estimated to be half the cost of the original project but also corrected existing deficiencies identified during sewer system modeling.
• The City decided to move forward with the proposed alternative, which is currently under design.
