Oak Hill/Bergdolt Road

The Project

Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. provided construction engineering and inspection services for the construction of the improvements for the Oak Hill Road and Bergdolt Road intersection in Vanderburgh County.

The Solution

The project involved the complete removal and reconstruction of approximately 850 feet of Oak Hill Road and approximately 385 feet of Bergdolt Road, complete with storm sewers, concrete curb and gutter, and new driveway entrances. The project also included a complete reconfiguration of the intersection, new traffic signals, left turn lanes on Oak Hill Road, pavement markings, and the placement of sodding in the disturbed areas. Patriot Engineering and Environmental, Inc. performed all material sampling and testing required for the earthwork, pavement subgrade, and concrete work.
