Commonwealth is at the forefront of incorporating green infrastructure into projects. We have been involved with several projects where we have proposed and implemented economical green infrastructure alternatives involving bioswales, vegetated basins, and porous pavement. Many of these alternatives have proven to reduce costs and conserve energy once implemented and put into operation. Members of Commonwealth’s staff have been recognized as leaders in the implementation of green infrastructure by the City of Indianapolis, with a member currently serving on the City’s Green Building Task Force.
