Monticello’s Beacon of Light Award Winner: Theresa Criss-Hartwig

Commonwealth Engineers commends Director of Business Development, Theresa Criss-Hartwig for her selfless pursuit of what is best for our clients.

On May 27, 2020, Theresa Criss-Hartwig received the City of Monticello’s “Beacon of Light Award” for her support of the community during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Through Theresa’s relationship with the City of Monticello and its Mayor, she was able to identify a need within the community and fulfill it.

While this support was outside of Commonwealth’s typical realm of engineering services, we are committed to helping Indiana communities thrive and prosper, especially during this period of uncertainty.

In making the award to Theresa, Monticello Mayor Cathy Gross noted the challenges her community and its’ small businesses are facing and the critical need for partnerships: “during these trying times, as we all navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the collaborative relationships between our communities and our corporate partners is even more important.  Your overall commitment to a positive outlook is an inspiration to me and the City of Monticello.”
