Last IFA Regional Planning Meeting Prior to March 1 Deadline
The 2019 Indiana General Assembly enacted Senate Enrolled Act 4 (SEA 4), requiring the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) to conduct regional planning meetings throughout the State of Indiana to enable drinking water and wastewater utilities to work together to address long-term needs. SEA 4 also requires these utilities to report participation in the planning meetings.
The deadline to report participation in the regional meetings is March 1, 2021, and every March 1st of each odd-numbered year after 2021. Participation in one (1) IFA regional planning meeting is required each reporting term to qualify for assistance from the State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan Program.
The IFA currently has only one (1) remaining Regional Planning Meeting scheduled prior to the March 1, 2021 deadline.
The planning meeting will be held virtually on February 12, 2021, from 2:00-3:00 pm EST on Microsoft Teams. This is a free event, and the IFA has applied to IDEM for 1 DW CEU and 1 WW CEU.
The registration deadline is Tuesday, February 9. Registered participants will receive the Microsoft Teams meeting link on Wednesday, February 10.
