Odon Water Utility Groundbreaking

On October 29, the Town of Odon held a groundbreaking event for the Water Utility Improvements project. This transformative project will modernize Odon’s water utility infrastructure to improve water quality, reliability, and system performance for residents and businesses throughout the Town. The project includes a new water treatment plant with aeration, detention, filtration, and pumping equipment. It also includes distribution system improvements to provide more water storage and a booster station to improve pressure in portions of the system.

The $8.2 million project is funded in part through the Indiana Finance Authority’s State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan Program, including $2,800,000 in forgivable loan dollars and a grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) for $750,000.
