Town of Chrisney Receives OCRA Funding

On Friday, October 16th, Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch visited the Town of Chrisney to present a $700,000 grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) for their water supply and distribution improvements project.

This project includes the installation of a new disinfectant residual analyzer, upgrades to 8,800 linear feet of water main, rehabilitation of the existing water storage elevated tank, replacement of inoperable hydrants, upgrade of the existing laboratory and administration building, a new material storage building, and supply of much needed water utility support equipment.
